Key Responsibilities\n

The Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist will engage in a variety of activities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Creating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that incorporate their personal goals and preferences.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, specifically Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide impactful treatment interventions.
\n
• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.
\n
• Tracking and monitoring client progress throughout the treatment process, ensuring that adjustments to the treatment plan are made when necessary.
\n
• Collaborating effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, comprehensive care.
\n
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on recent developments and research pertaining to mood disorders to enhance the quality of client care and treatment effectiveness.

• Documenting all client interactions, therapy sessions, and treatment plans meticulously to comply with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participating in routine case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education to refine clinical skills and stay adept in best practices for mood disorder treatment.

• Serving as a client advocate, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on individuals suffering from mood disorders, including but not limited to, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The therapist will work with clients ranging from adolescents to adults, addressing a variety of socio-economic backgrounds. We believe in a holistic approach, valuing each client’s story and creating treatment plans that center on their lived experiences and aspirations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, with a specialization in mood disorders preferred.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience collaborating with psychiatrists and other medical professionals for integrated care.

• A demonstrable history of successful treatment outcomes with clients diagnosed with mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers an competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus for new hires.
