Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individual clients and families to identify core issues and treatment goals.

• Provide ongoing individual and family therapy sessions, adapting therapeutic techniques as needed to meet the evolving needs of clients.

• Facilitate therapeutic group sessions that promote skills in communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.
\n
• Establish and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients, embedding empathy and support while ensuring professional boundaries.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with organizational policies and comply with relevant ethical and legal standards.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to the individual needs of clients, including but not limited to, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches.

• Participate in regular case reviews and professional consultations to enhance therapeutic strategies and improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily supports a diverse patient population, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to marriage, relationship conflicts, and family dynamics. Our clients come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, and your sensitivity to cross-cultural issues will enrich their therapeutic experience. You will be prepared to work with clients presenting with a range of DSM diagnoses, providing informed care that meets their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania, free from any suspension or probation.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a leadership role within an outpatient mental health setting.

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to create a warm and supportive atmosphere conducive to healing.

• Experience in using Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques is highly desirable but not mandatory.
