Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings for new clients, analyzing their mental health concerns to inform personalized treatment plans. Devise and implement individual treatment plans that reflect clients' unique challenges and personal goals, utilizing evidence-based practices to encourage progress. Facilitate therapeutic sessions—both individual and group—fostering an environment that promotes open communication and trust. Maintain a collaborative approach by working closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to provide a well-rounded treatment experience for clients. Guide clients and their families through the recovery process, providing psychoeducation and resources to enhance understanding and engagement. Ensure the confidentiality and security of client records in accordance with regulatory standards and ethical guidelines. The counselors at Medchoice Counseling Center will work with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Qualifications A current and valid license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) A master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. Demonstrated specialized training or substantial experience in mental health counseling with a competent grasp of evidence-based practices. Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients. Strong communication and teamwork abilities essential for effective interprofessional collaboration. Preferred Experience Experience providing telehealth services, which can enhance your adaptability and familiarity with this delivery method. Background in working with varied population demographics, enriching the clinician’s ability to approach treatment from culturally informed perspectives. Prior involvement in a clinical setting that emphasizes a client-centered approach and interdisciplinary collaboration. Compensation and Benefits A competitive salary that ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
