Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Belfry Counseling Center, you will:

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups to identify their mental health needs and formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing various evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to assist clients in achieving their mental health goals.

• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and departmental policies.

• Collaborate with fellow staff members and interdisciplinary teams during meetings and patient rounds to discuss treatment updates and modifications.

• Manage case assignments, connecting clients with appropriate resources and community services to support their recovery and enhance their overall well-being.

• Continuously evaluate patient progress and adapt interventions to meet evolving client needs, contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate must possess:

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of therapeutic practices.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; further education, such as a Master’s degree, is highly preferred.

• The willingness to work between 10 to 40 hours weekly, depending on personal and patient needs.

Preferred Experience\n
