About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Employee Relations and Compliance to play a pivotal role in the strategic development and implementation of employee relations and workplace compliance programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the enterprise-wide employee relations strategy, serving as a senior advisor on complex employee matters, and ensuring the organization's readiness for evolving employment regulations. This role demands a leader with a strong background in employee relations, compliance, and risk management, who can build trusted partnerships, mitigate risk, and create a positive employee experience. The VP will also be instrumental in leading the company's efforts in growth, transformation, and integration, particularly in the context of acquisitions and organizational redesigns. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 12 years' of experience in relevant fields. The role requires a deep understanding of employment laws and a proven track record in leading employee relations and compliance functions within large, dynamic organizations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to influence executive leaders. Key responsibilities include overseeing workplace investigations, developing and leading a high-performing team, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. The VP will also be expected to partner with business leaders to navigate change, preserve employee engagement, and align employee relations and compliance strategies with the company's broader business objectives.
