Work Environment\n

This position is remote, providing flexibility while ensuring a structured work schedule of Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Though work is performed from home, counselors will maintain regular check-ins with colleagues and supervisors to promote teamwork and continuous professional development. Our outpatient office setting allows for a conducive balance between independence in practice and collaborative support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that address their specific concerns and objectives.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to facilitate individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.

• Engage clients in collaborative goal-setting to foster their participation in the therapeutic process and monitor progress effectively.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records following ethical guidelines and state regulations, ensuring the highest standard of care.

• Continuously engage in professional development, including attending workshops and conferences, to expand knowledge of best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCMHC at Dare to Dream Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse client base, addressing a wide range of issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, relationship challenges, and trauma recovery. Your role will be to empower clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors within a safe environment, facilitating their path toward mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

• A valid and active LCMHC license in the state of Vermont.

• Demonstrated experience, preferably two years, working with clients from varied demographic and cultural backgrounds.

• Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods and a good understanding of mental health disorders.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport building with clients.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing to a supportive workplace culture.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
