This role is set in a remote environment, allowing therapists the flexibility to manage their schedules while working closely with a collaborative team of mental health professionals. Employees will conduct most therapy sessions virtually, using a secure electronic health record (EHR) system to document patient progress and adhere to legal and ethical standards. Our work setting is geared towards an outpatient model, where focus is given to facilitating accessible mental health care in the comfort of our clients' homes.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify the unique needs of each patient, and develop appropriate and personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide individual, couple, and family counseling sessions.
\n
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support groups, offering patients a community resource to share experiences and coping strategies related to common mental health challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies, providing immediate support and response to clients in distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and local resources to enhance their understanding and management of their conditions.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with the evolving landscape of mental health therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Currently hold a valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Profound understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic best practices.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and create effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy, particularly to diverse populations with varying needs.

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities to foster trustworthy therapeutic relationships and engage with clients effectively.

• Sound judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards in practice.

• Competency in using electronic health record systems and general office software applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred.

• Training or certification in specific therapy modalities beyond LPC, LCSW, or LMFT licensure would be an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
