Head of Development

Location: Remote (U.S.) with travel - NYC or Texas Preferred

Reports To: CEO & Founding Team

Compensation: $300,000 - $350,000 Base + Bonus + Meaningful Equity

The Opportunity

As Head of Development, you'll own the whole data center portfolio from initial site strategy through customer engagement, construction execution and delivering the final product directly to the customer.

You'll work directly alongside the CEO and founders to drive company strategy, evaluate new markets, secure infrastructure, shape customer commitments, and build a scalable development organization capable of supporting aggressive national growth.

This is a high-impact, highly visible leadership role with the autonomy to make critical decisions and the opportunity to influence the direction of the business for years to come.

What You'll Do

Lead end-to-end development and delivery of next-generation AI and data center infrastructure projects

Drive site selection, utility strategy, permitting, entitlement, and infrastructure planning

Oversee project execution from concept through commissioning and customer handover

Develop relationships with utilities, municipalities, engineering partners, contractors, and customers

Lead commercial negotiations and support customer-facing discussions

Build scalable development processes, teams, and delivery capabilities

Partner directly with executive leadership on growth strategy, capital deployment, and market expansion

Help shape one of the industry's most innovative infrastructure platforms

What We're Looking For

7+ years developing or delivering large-scale data center, mission-critical, power, energy, or infrastructure projects

Experience taking projects from concept through construction and commissioning

Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating contracts, vendor agreements, and project partnerships

Deep understanding of power infrastructure, development processes, construction delivery, and stakeholder management

Proven ability to manage large budgets, schedules, contractors, and customer commitments

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment

Proven track record leading complex projects while balancing speed, cost, quality, and execution
