Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that acknowledge and incorporate clients' cultural backgrounds, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions to address clients' diverse mental health concerns and support their journey towards healing and resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques specifically designed for remote delivery, ensuring effective intervention even via digital platforms.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring integrated care for clients requiring comprehensive mental health support.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring client safety and guiding them through challenging experiences.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available resources, and strategies to manage their well-being effectively.

• Maintain stringent confidentiality and ethical standards by documenting care plans and interactions in compliance with legal protocols.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including case conferences and cultural competency training, actively contributing to our practice's knowledge base and policies.

You will work with a richly diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientations, and cultural experiences. Your role will involve understanding and addressing the distinct challenges faced by various groups, including LGBTQ+ individuals and immigrant populations. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, therapy modalities, and culturally competent care practices.

• Proven experience providing therapy in diverse settings with a commitment to inclusivity and responsiveness to the cultural nuances of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience as a mental health counselor is required, candidates with additional experience in multicultural environments or crisis management will be prioritized. Experience with teletherapy is also a significant asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n
