Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Conscious Growths, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks aimed at fostering positive mental health outcomes for your patients:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments for individuals, families, and groups, using evidence-based assessment tools to gauge mental health needs accurately.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, coordinating with clients to establish achievable therapeutic goals.

• Effectively document treatment sessions, progress notes, and patient interactions to ensure accurate and timely record-keeping within our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Engage in collaborative care practices, participating in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies, thereby enhancing outcomes through cooperative planning.

• Maintain an empathetic approach while providing case management services, coordinating with healthcare professionals and community programs to ensure comprehensive client support.

• Utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based modalities, helping patients navigate their challenges and facilitating their journey toward recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve engaging with a diverse client population, which may include children, adolescents, adults, and families from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will play a pivotal role in addressing a wide array of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. This role requires a keen understanding of the unique circumstances each client faces, enabling you to tailor your therapeutic approaches accordingly.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
