Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients via secure video chat, focusing on improving mental health and well-being.

• Encourage clients to openly discuss their emotions and personal experiences to facilitate self-awareness and relationship dynamics.

• Serve as an advocate for clients by assisting them in identifying and setting therapeutic goals tailored to their personal journeys.

• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions thoroughly, devising and implementing personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse clientele consisting of individuals who are pre-screened to ensure they are stable and present with low acuity symptoms. This well-defined patient population allows you to apply your expertise in a supportive environment, focusing on preventive care and positive mental health strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Possession of an independent license (one of the following): Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) , or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) .

• Proficient in making professional evaluations and formulating effective treatment recommendations for clients.

• Strong interpersonal skills with a natural empathy, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Competence in utilizing technology, including telehealth systems, to engage with clients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a teletherapy role or virtual counseling environment.
