Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), tailored to clients seeking stress relief and emotional wellbeing.

• Conduct thorough initial assessments, identifying each client's unique stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, which inform individualized treatment plans.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathing techniques, actively supporting their quest for self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience-building strategies for diverse client groups.

• Incorporate mindfulness seamlessly into individual therapy sessions to address specific mental health issues, enhancing therapeutic outcomes and personal growth.

• Work collaboratively with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to create an integrative approach to client care, enriching the therapeutic experience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Experience and proficiency in applying mindfulness and therapeutic interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
