This position is designed for a remote work setting, where you will be responsible for conducting therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. You'll work closely with a supportive team of mental health professionals, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess clients' psychological states, alongside behavioral and emotional challenges during the initial consultation.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that address the specific needs of individuals, families, couples, and groups based on evidence-based therapeutic practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic techniques that promote healing and personal growth.

• Document and monitor clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting intervention strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians, and social workers, to ensure a coordinated approach to client care.

• Manage referrals to other specialists and community resources as needed, ensuring continuity of care.

• Identify issues that may hinder recovery and implement preventive strategies to support clients in overcoming these barriers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will involve a diverse clientele, including those grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. You will cater to varying age groups and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that care is sensitive to the needs of each client. Your ability to establish rapport and build trust will be essential in creating a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. A Master's or doctoral degree is preferred.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent in the state of New York.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems, with a preference for experience with platforms like AVATAR.
\n
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with exceptional interpersonal skills that exhibit a supportive and understanding demeanor.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record of providing therapeutic services in outpatient settings.

• Familiarity with best practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and knowledge of managing underlying physical and emotional health conditions.

• An understanding of the effects of medications used by medical professionals, enhancing your ability to support clients holistically.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with relevant experience, alongside a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
