Work Environment\n

This role allows for a flexible work environment as it is fully remote. You'll be equipped with all the necessary tools for virtual therapy sessions, including access to telehealth platforms and collaboration software. Our team communicates regularly to share insights and strategies to optimize client care, making it vital for each therapist to engage with peers and supervisors actively. Monday through Friday, you'll have the freedom to manage your schedule within standard office hours, typically from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions tailored to each client's emotional and mental health needs, using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy.

• Facilitate sessions for couples and families, helping them navigate conflicts, improve communication, and enhance their relationships.

• Document clinical notes accurately, maintaining detailed electronic health records (EHR) that comply with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and engage family members in treatment planning and decision-making as necessary.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in therapy, as well as state regulations affecting your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse clients facing various challenges including anxiety, depression, relational difficulties, and trauma. Our clients are often seeking support in navigating complex family dynamics, marriage conflicts, or the aftermath of significant life transitions. By understanding the unique backgrounds and experiences of our clients, you will better tailor your therapeutic approach to meet their needs and foster effective coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid LMFT license issued by the State of California.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize and effectively communicate with clients from varying backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using technology for telehealth services, electronic records, and virtual communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in providing therapeutic services within a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
