Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Holicare, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining a manageable caseload of clients, ensuring the establishment of rapport and positive relationships, whilst upholding professional ethics and boundaries.
\n
• Conducting regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, stability, and upcoming appointments, while preparing for appropriate discharge when suitable.
\n
• Creating, implementing, and managing individualized treatment plans that are person-centered and tailored to each client's needs.
\n
• Keeping meticulous and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and intake assessments for each client.
\n
• Conducting individual therapy sessions weekly and participating in regular individual supervision to enhance personal and professional growth.
\n
• Collaborating actively with other healthcare providers to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for clients.
\n
• Embracing a growth mindset, consistently seeking ways to improve services and personal practice.
\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves youth and their families, addressing a variety of mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders, and substance abuse challenges. Your expertise will focus on fostering resilience, engagement, and well-being in children and adolescents.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health or a related field.
\n
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
\n
• The capability to meet the credentialing requirements specific to the organization.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates who also have:

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or in substance abuse populations.
\n
• Previous experience in individual and group therapy, as well as assessment and diagnosis of mental health disorders.

• Strong proficiency in computer skills, including basic software tools and documentation practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
