Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, gaining insights into the unique experiences of each patient to formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and group therapy sessions. This may include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapy, and other approaches suited to our diverse clientele.

• Facilitate therapy sessions that incorporate both individual and family dynamics, focusing on strengthening familial relationships and promoting personal resilience.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to ensure holistic care delivery.

• Provide crisis intervention support in high-stress scenarios, ensuring that patients receive immediate and effective assistance during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, empowering them to engage actively in their care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) , Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) , or Psychologist.

• A robust understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities, accompanied by a strong commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy in ways that honor the cultural backgrounds of patients.

• Exceptional crisis intervention capabilities, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable rapport-building with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant digital technologies.
