Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the diverse cultural backgrounds of clients, enabling the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in both individual and group therapy settings, aligning approaches with the specific cultural contexts and individual needs of clients.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients dealing with mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate care and assistance.

• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive mental health services.

• Offer psychoeducation to clients and families about mental health conditions, treatment strategies, and available community resources.

• Document all client interactions and treatment progress accurately in compliance with HIPAA and other ethical standards.

• Participate actively in interdepartmental team meetings and case conferences, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning.

• Stay abreast of current research, best practices, and cultural trends in mental health to enhance the quality of care provided to our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based practices, and proven cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience delivering therapeutic services in both individual and group formats, with an emphasis on inclusive treatment methodologies.

• Strong crisis intervention capabilities with the ability to navigate complex emotional situations calmly.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrated through successful rapport-building with diverse clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with various computer applications related to telehealth services.

• A commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and respectful boundaries in all interactions.

• Ability to function effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
