Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify the unique needs of children and their families.

• Engage collaboratively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailored to each child’s specific requirements.

• Monitor and document client progress and outcomes, reporting regularly to the interdisciplinary team.
\n
• Deliver educational and emotional support to families, helping them understand their child’s needs and available resources.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations related to early childhood intervention.
\n
• Utilize therapeutic techniques and interventions that promote a healthy learning environment.
\n
• Develop rapport with children and their families, adapting strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities, along with their families. Your role is crucial in facilitating their growth in various domains, including physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills, particularly during the critical early years of development.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate of Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• Current LCSW licensure from the Department of Public Health.
\n
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.
\n
• Demonstrated ability and confidence in adapting techniques to meet the diverse learning and developmental needs of children.

• Strong commitment to Natural Learning Environment Practices.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with families and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of experience working in early intervention settings, particularly with children.

• Proficiency in utilizing assessment tools and methodologies relevant to early childhood development.

• Experience in family therapy or parent coaching is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits\n
