Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license
• Completion of background check and fingerprinting prior to start
• School-based SLP or AAC experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy in an elementary school setting
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Implement direct therapy and maintain thorough documentation
• Collaborate with educational teams and attend meetings (paid administrative/indirect time included)
• Support a varied caseload of students with diverse communication needs
