Work Environment

This position is onsite, providing patient care directly in the home environments of our clients in Hialeah. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient needs, including functional mobility, strength, and pain levels, using standardized assessment tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation.
• Implement therapeutic interventions while exercising independent judgment and professional expertise to adapt treatment strategies based on patient progress.
• Collaborate actively with patients, their families, and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining clear communication regarding progress, setbacks, and home exercise programs.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in electronic health records to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and enhance continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and wellness strategies to support their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic conditions resulting from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly within orthopedic or rehabilitation settings.
• Ability to independently manage patient care, while also demonstrating teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and maintaining therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The remuneration for this role ranges between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
