Work Environment

The successful candidate will work primarily in patients' homes, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team that includes Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists. This onsite position allows for a personalized approach to therapy, fostering strong relationships with patients and their families while providing convenient access to care. The work schedule is typically Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with potential flexibility to accommodate specific patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to develop customized treatment plans that target individual mobility, strength, and functional goals.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, explaining the purpose and expected outcomes of each intervention.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, proper body mechanics adjustments, and home care strategies to ensure continuity of care.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy to enhance treatment efficacy.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting progress and adapting treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of our patients.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, facilitating a supportive and encouraging rehabilitation environment.
• Adhere to established ethical standards and best practices while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Vita Flex Therapeutics offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to this competitive pay, we offer:
