Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of this role is on a diverse patient population that includes individuals dealing with complex mental health issues, often compounded by chronic medical conditions such as autoimmune disorders and substance use disorders. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will empower these individuals to navigate their unique challenges, promoting resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist within the state of Washington.

• Proven ability to address the mental health needs of individuals who have co-occurring medical conditions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with clients.

• Commitment to maintaining professional boundaries and adherence to ethical guidelines, ensuring confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Proficiency with computer applications and electronic health records to support efficient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

Successful candidates will have experience working in integrated care settings or with populations experiencing chronic illness alongside mental health challenges. Additionally, familiarity with therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) will be considered an asset, as will experience in crisis intervention.
