Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Solace Haven Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve assisting clients struggling with a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will engage with adults, adolescents, and families from diverse backgrounds, understanding the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practice. Qualifications\n

The successful candidate will hold a relevant master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution. You must possess a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New York. A minimum of two years of related clinical experience is essential, along with:

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with specialized training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care will be preferred. Compensation and Benefits\n
