This full-time role will primarily focus on delivering crucial mental health support to clients in a remote hospice setting. Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. Our office hours are flexible, offering shifts of either four 10-hour days or five 8-hour days within the hours of 8 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Friday. This structure provides the opportunity to cater to client needs while ensuring that you have time for personal wellness.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychotherapy and counseling sessions for individuals, groups, couples, and families dealing with a variety of mental health challenges.

• Perform client interviews to collect and analyze social, personal, environmental, and health-related information essential for effective treatment planning.
\n
• Develop assessment protocols and treatment plans that align with clients' emotional and psychosocial needs.
\n
• Facilitate short-term crisis interventions and coordinate referrals to community resources to support holistic care.
\n
• Nurture relationships based on respect and trust, ensuring the therapeutic alliance is central to your practice.
\n
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of counseling services, adjusting approaches as necessary to meet client goals.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment interventions as per established protocols.
\n
• Manage a caseload in accordance with organizational standards, ensuring all evaluations and follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.

• May perform additional duties as assigned to enhance client experiences and support organizational initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Mountain Side Counseling & Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals within our hospice care unit. Clients may struggle with complex psychosocial issues related to end-of-life situations, including grief, loss, depression, and anxiety. Understanding their unique challenges is vital to providing effective support and enhancing their emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have at least four years of experience in clinical settings addressing behavioral health issues, particularly in grief or end-of-life counseling, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Prior experience in a hospice or palliative care environment is a significant advantage in understanding the complexities faced by our clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
