About the Position

Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 18 weeks Shift: Night and Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty required. License: Must have a permanent state license or compact state license in hand. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Traveler must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores on both assessments. One reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission. All certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission. Background checks will be conducted, and no open cases will be accepted. Description: The position requires a Med/Surg Tele RN. The role includes the potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Shifts will be rotating between night and day schedules. Shifts may vary to meet operational needs. All travelers must have 12 months of permanent experience in the applicable specialty. Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be provided. Travelers must adhere to holiday working requirements. Any traveler who does not pass the ECG rhythm recognition test or safeMedicate assessment after two attempts will be canceled. All references must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility within one year of their previous end date. All travelers (except nurses and CSTs) must be nicotine-free.
