About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day shifts available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for License: Permanent Ohio license or compact state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 12 months permanent experience in specialty applying for - Active and current certifications in hand at time of submission - Reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor or director in the specialty applying for Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical/Surgical Telemetry. The role involves potential floating to different units to provide care for the same patient population. Nurses will work rotating shifts, with options for both nights and days. Shifts may be variable to meet the operational needs of the facility. Nurses must work at least every other holiday. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safe medication assessment will be required during orientation. Nurses will have a maximum of two attempts to pass both assessments. Candidates with any background checks will be reviewed, but those with open cases or license issues will not be accepted. Travelers, aside from nurses and CSTs, must be nicotine-free and pass a drug screening. Continuity with contracts may require annual competencies to ensure ongoing compliance.
