Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This flexible, part-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with students and educators across two supportive middle schools within the Washington DC area, just 45 minutes south of the city. Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
• Experience in a school setting preferred, with knowledge of IEP processes and consultative models
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Satisfy VA Department of Social Services background requirements (must start promptly)
• Recent negative TB test, as mandated by the Virginia Department of Education

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver OT direct services for 10 students while providing consultative support for another 15 within a total caseload of 25
• Conduct OT assessments as needed throughout the school year, with a focus on student-centered and evidence-based interventions
• Collaborate with special education teams and families to develop and implement effective therapy plans
• Potential for an additional elementary school assignment to further expand your impact
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with district policies and regulatory guidelines
