Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to perform both direct student interventions and consultative services
• Skilled at conducting evaluations and adapting to changing caseload needs
• Strong communication and organization skills for collaboration with staff and families
• Must initiate VA Department of Social Services background check promptly
• Valid TB test, in compliance with state requirements

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy to approximately 25 students (ages primarily middle school; potential to include elementary)
• Work independently across two assigned schools, supporting students’ functional and academic participation
• Provide individualized intervention to 10 students and consultative strategies for 15 others
• Adapt therapy and support approaches as caseload evolves throughout the year
• Document progress, collaborate with educational teams, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
