Work Environment

The work setting at Comfort of Care is primarily onsite, involving traveling to patients' homes in Schenectady and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health team members to develop and implement comprehensive patient care programs tailored to individual needs.
• Assess and assign specific components of the nursing regimen to allied nursing personnel, ensuring continuity and quality of care.
• Provide teaching and guidance to allied nursing staff, enhancing their ability to deliver effective patient care.
• Develop, maintain, and interpret nursing practice standards in accordance with established guidelines and ethical practices.
• Participate in departmental and interdisciplinary meetings to discuss policies, procedures, and ongoing quality improvements in nursing practice.
• Identify needs for resources and policies necessary to optimize the delivery of nursing care services.

As a Nurse Practitioner at Comfort of Care, you will have the unique opportunity to serve a heterogeneous patient population, ranging from young adults to the elderly. Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), or completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Certificate Program.
• National certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Active, unrestricted NP license in the state of New York.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• Strong adaptability to work in a flexible environment with varying patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in concierge medicine, house calls, or primary care settings.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role includes a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $160,000 annually, depending on your experience and caseload.
