Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage directly with clients both remotely and through occasional community outreach, focusing on individuals experiencing mental health symptoms related to major mental illness and emotional disorders.

• Participate actively in team-based care, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes shared goals.

• Develop individualized care plans based on thorough assessments, empower clients to set personal recovery goals, and coordinate closely with families and other healthcare providers.

• Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and determine the need for more comprehensive assessments, ensuring that clients receive timely and appropriate care.

• Utilize advanced crisis intervention techniques as necessary, intervening in high-stress situations to stabilize clients and connect them with necessary resources.

• Maintain a caseload with ongoing documentation of client interactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

• Participate in quality improvement committees to suggest methods for enhancing service delivery and addressing gaps in care.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse population, particularly those experiencing the complex emotional and psychological impacts of terminal illness. The LCSW will support clients and their families through education, counseling, and advocacy, helping them navigate their unique healthcare needs and choices during a sensitive and often challenging time.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities, particularly in managing complex cases.

• A deep understanding of ethical guidelines and the code of conduct as set forth by the organization and professional bodies.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in settings that include crisis intervention and mental health concerns is highly desirable. Experience in hospice or palliative care is a plus.

• Demonstrated competence in addressing age-specific and culturally relevant issues for diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time LCSW position offers a competitive salary, ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
