Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with ethical guidelines and legal standards.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to enhance the holistic care approach for our clients.

• Stay abreast of emerging research and advancements in mental health practices through ongoing professional development, attending workshops and seminars.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Community Empowerment Mental Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, substance abuse challenges, and relationship dynamics. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting.

• Proven understanding and adherence to ethical guidelines and legal regulations governing counseling practices.
