Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments for assigned clients to assess their needs and determine the appropriate mental health services required.
\n
• Developing personalized treatment plans and setting measurable goals based on individual assessments that capitalize on client strengths and address their specific challenges.
\n
• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress against treatment goals, making adjustments to plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Acting as a supportive liaison between clients, their families, and community agencies, facilitating communication and collaboration to enhance client care.
\n
• Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices tailored to the specific needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with families to support the mental, emotional, and social development of young clients, fostering resilience and coping skills that promote overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a current LPCC license issued by the appropriate state agency, verifying your qualifications and ability to practice.
\n
• Hold a completed Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field.
\n
• Have at least two (2) years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor, demonstrating your ability to effectively work with complex cases.
\n
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of therapeutic principles and the ability to apply them in practice.
\n
• Be willing to undergo a background check and pre-employment physical to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with additional specialized training in trauma-informed care, play therapy, or community mental health services will be viewed favorably. Experience in multi-disciplinary team settings and familiarity with electronic health record systems will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
