Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely set in a remote work environment, allowing counselors to provide flexible and accessible mental health services to their clients. Our outpatient setting fosters a supportive atmosphere that prioritizes patient connections and therapeutic outcomes. Counselors will engage with clients through telehealth platforms, enriching the support we provide and allowing for continuous care based on individual patient needs. While the work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some flexibility may be required to accommodate the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine the unique needs of patients and create tailored treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions, enhancing community awareness and providing peer support for common mental health topics.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure well-rounded and coordinated care for each patient.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services, providing timely support in high-stress situations or emergencies.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, potential treatment pathways, and available resources within the community.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with the latest advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Thorough understanding of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and assessment techniques.

• Skill in developing effective treatment plans and delivering both individual and group therapy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build rapport with clients full-time.

• Competence in maintaining boundaries, ethics, and professional conduct within therapeutic settings.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and necessary technological tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n
