Merck seeks a motivated intern for a 10-12 week paid program in pharmacovigilance operations and global process enablement. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance drug safety policies, processes, and standards while supporting process improvements through technology and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation and continuous improvement of global pharmacovigilance processes, policies, and standards
- Collaborate with teams to develop process improvements utilizing AI tools and methodologies
- Ensure adherence to international pharmacovigilance regulations, quality standards, and best practices
- Participate in meetings with global colleagues and contribute to safety-related projects
Requirements
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- Strong interest in pharmacovigilance, technology, and process improvement
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Experience with artificial intelligence preferred but not required
Compensation: $39,108–$111,111
