HIV Customer Representative - New Orleans Territory Mirror
Merck
Merck seeks an HIV Customer Representative for the New Orleans territory to drive pharmaceutical sales and support healthcare provider relationships. The role requires field-based engagement with healthcare professionals across Louisiana, with emphasis on HIV product positioning, customer strategy development, and market analysis.
Responsibilities
- Communicate HIV product information tailored to individual healthcare provider needs and practice structures
- Develop and execute customer strategy with key accounts, including practice assessment and opportunity identification
- Manage Virology product portfolio through customer segmentation, targeting, and account planning
- Identify and recommend company programs and resources addressing healthcare provider needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members including managed care, marketing, and community liaisons on account plans
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years sales experience
- High school diploma with 6+ years equivalent professional sales, marketing, military, or healthcare experience
- Advanced ability to ask strategic questions and assess customer healthcare needs
- Knowledge of HIV payer environment and specialty pharmacy distribution channels
- Strong compliance understanding and ethical judgment in regulated industry
- Proficiency with technology platforms and multi-channel customer engagement
