Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, using evidence-based interventions.

• Perform initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate client strengths and address specific challenges related to mental health and substance abuse.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Regularly follow up with clients to evaluate their progress, address emerging issues, and adjust interventions as needed to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients coping with substance use disorders and mental health challenges. Our diverse patient population includes individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds, each bringing unique experiences and needs. You will employ a relational framework to understand and address their issues, helping clients to navigate their challenges and strengthen their interpersonal relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution with a strong foundation in therapeutic theories and practices.

• Current and active California LMFT license that is free of any suspensions or probationary status.
\n
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient setting, demonstrating leadership capabilities and clinical expertise in the field.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to establish a calming presence and supportive environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Training or experience in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques, adding depth to your therapeutic approach.

Compensation and Benefits\n
