The role of Physical Therapist is performed in a home care setting, allowing for a more personalized approach to therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' needs and establish effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic exercises, hands-on techniques, and innovative modalities tailored to enhance patient recovery.
• Document progress and treatment responses methodically to track the advancement of each patient's rehabilitation journey.
• Regularly re-evaluate and adapt treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Advise and fit patients for assistive devices to promote self-care and mobility, when necessary.
• Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and family members on proper usage of assistive technologies and physical therapy practices.
• Stay abreast of advancements in the field through continuing education, participation in professional organizations, and collaboration with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position caters to a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from surgeries, strokes, injuries, and various health conditions. Your expertise will be crucial in crafting recovery strategies that address the specific physical limitations and goals of each patient, ensuring they attain a better quality of life. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written formats, with proficiency in computer and documentation software.
• A proactive, flexible approach to patient care, with the ability to adapt your methods as needed.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience is not mandatory, we value candidates with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in home health settings. Proficiency in using physical therapy equipment and a background in educating patients and families are also advantageous.
