Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily tasks will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to identify each client's mental health needs and creating tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Providing evidence-based therapy services to individuals, couples, and groups, employing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address complex mental health issues.

• Collaborating closely with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic and coordinated care, ensuring the best outcomes for our clients.

• Responding to crisis situations with appropriate interventions, offering support and resources to clients experiencing acute distress.

• Participating in community outreach initiatives and educational programs that promote mental health awareness, resilience, and stigma reduction.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Bellarine Counseling Center, you will work with a wide range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our therapists are dedicated to understanding the unique experiences of each client, allowing for culturally competent care tailored to their individual circumstances.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• An active and independent state license as one of the following:
\n
\n
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
\n
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
\n
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
\n
• Doctor of Psychology (PsyD)
\n
\n
• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong therapeutic relationships and rapport with clients.
\n
• Cultural competence and sensitivity, enabling effective work with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to accurate and timely documentation using our electronic health record system.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and credentials. In addition, we provide:
