Plant Administrative Support

Job Summary: Provides plant administrative support in the areas of HR, Safety and Production at a manufacturing plant or facility. Essential Functions: Collects, reviews and analyzes data and prepares plant dashboard reports, charts, and other presentation materials utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, or specialized software Prints daily production reports and shift reports for supervisors Assist with timecard approvals, and maintain attendance tracking Assist with sourcing, interviewing and scheduling candidates for hire Point of contact for new hires; assist with onboarding and conducts onboarding presentations to include safety training for new employees Safety Administration and record keeping Prepares and distributes reports or other communications on a regular schedule Maintains files, databases, and archives of relevant records Screens calls and responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with appropriate correspondence or other messaging Skills/Knowledge/Abilities: Computer literacy Adobe, MS and understanding of new systems Multi-tasking ability to pivot quickly Experience with vendor relationships Good communication skills written and verbal communication Editing and proofreading Education and Experience: 0-1 years of administrative responsibility or administrative training program completed 0-1 years HR administrative experience as well as exposure to safety administration High School diploma or equivalent Physical Requirements: The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may frequently lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
