Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide clinical consultation to our team, delivering expert advice on mental health issues affecting various patient demographics, including geriatric and substance use populations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at El Centro, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including those experiencing geriatric-related mental health issues and individuals confronting substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required for this position.

• Possession of independent licenses, such as LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), is essential.

• Demonstrated ability to efficiently complete progress notes and other documentation post-client sessions while maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
