Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• Minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
\n
• Strong comprehension of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment approaches.

• Demonstrated experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions focused on a culturally responsive model.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to connect with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other computer applications to manage client data effectively.

• Capacity to uphold professional ethics, maintain confidentiality, and establish professional boundaries within the counselor-client relationship.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly in urgent care settings.

• Training or certification in specialized therapeutic approaches (e.g., CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
