Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions as well as couples and family therapy, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Facilitating therapeutic interventions around issues such as alcohol abuse, grief and loss, family conflicts, and communication difficulties.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to foster positive behavioral changes.

• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with state and federal regulations.

• Participating in case consultations and attending professional development sessions to enhance your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, children, and adolescents. Your focus will extend to addressing challenges within families, such as blended family dynamics, separation and divorce adjustments, and conflict resolution among family members. Understanding the nuances of various family structures will help you to tailor your interventions effectively, ensuring the best outcomes for all clients.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license in the state of Connecticut.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
