Work Environment\n

This position is based in a community health clinic setting tailored for remote work. Our team operates in a collaborative culture that emphasizes teamwork, professional development, and the implementation of evidence-based practices. You'll be equipped with the necessary tools to perform your tasks efficiently, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and video conferencing platforms. Our scheduled work hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess the needs of your clients.

• Collaborating with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their specific concerns and goals.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse adult populations facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. Your efforts will not only aid individuals in their healing journeys but will also contribute to the overall improvement of community mental health.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An active New York State license in one of the following: LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. A Master's degree is strongly preferred.

• Proficiency in using EHR systems and familiarity with telehealth technologies to provide remote care.

Preferred Experience\n

We are looking for candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in mental health counseling. Prior experience in an outpatient setting, as well as experience working with clients from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
