About the job Responsible for delivering an exceptional gastronomic service for our travelers in accordance with Grand Circle Cruise Line (GCCL) standards, while contributing to a positive work environment. Responsibilities: • preparing daily meals in accordance with menu cycle • responsible for organizing “mise en place”, appropriate storage, and keeping of goods • responsible for hygiene in the galley in accordance with HACCP regulations • actively supporting and assisting culinary and restaurant team • any other duties advised by Executive Chef/Hotel Manager Skills/Qualifications: • culinary school diploma or basic education equivalent is preferred • minimum 2 years of experience in the field of desired position, preferably on passenger ship or in a 4 or 5 star restaurant and/or hotel • cruise ship experience is a plus • good communication skills • willingness to learn and progress • fluency in English • eligibility to work in EU What we offer: • Compensation o Gross monthly salary: 1.600 – 2.880 EUR, including base pay and potential additional earning such as bonuses, depending on experience and internal pay structure • Benefits o Tips customarily provided by U.S. travelers o Paid vacation o Travel allowance o Onboard internet access without usage limits o Free shore excursions o Special discounts in the on-board shop o Access to gym and wellness facilities o 50% discount on onboard massages o Laundry service (uniforms and personal clothing) o Private medical insurance coveragePlace of work: European Union
