Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in a hospital setting, Utica, New York. Start date 09/07/2026 for a 12-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,332–$2,415 per week, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is rotating 3x12-hour shifts (days and nights). This assignment involves obstetric care across antepartum, intra-partum, and postpartum, including newborn care, within a dedicated L&D unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care; monitor maternal status and fetal well-being.
- Manage labor progression, administer medications, perform routine assessments, and assist with cesarean deliveries when needed.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesia, neonatal teams, and nursing staff; participate in care planning and patient education.
- Document clinical care in the Epic/Stork electronic medical record; ensure accurate and timely charting.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards; respond to evolving obstetric situations and handoffs.
- May float to medical-surgical units (MB, pediatric, or adult floors) as needed within scope.

Requirements
- 4–5 years of L&D RN experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
- Proficiency with Epic/Stork systems
- Willingness to work rotating 3x12-hour shifts, including days and nights
- Ability to float to MB, pediatric, or adult floors as needed
- Travel assignment eligibility within the stated radius; local rate may apply for within 75 miles
