Overview
Registered Nurse – MICU travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. Start date 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,671–$1,706 per week with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts across a 3-night cycle. Setting: hospital Medical ICU with a 30-bed capacity in a fast-paced unit.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, high-acuity nursing care to adult patients in MICU, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention.
- Manage ventilated patients and titrate IV vasoactive drips per physician orders; respond quickly to changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, ensuring safety and accuracy; document administration appropriately.
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments, adjust care plans with the multidisciplinary team, and participate in daily rounds.
- Recognize and respond to emergencies; implement ACLS protocols as needed; collaborate closely with respiratory therapy and critical care teams.
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in the electronic medical record and ensure precise handoffs during shift changes.

Requirements
- 3+ years of MICU/ICU nursing experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Active RN license; eligibility to practice in Georgia
- Proficiency in ventilator management and IV vasoactive drips
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-acuity MICU
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communications skills
