Overview
Registered Nurse – Medical ICU (MICU) travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, United States. Start date 09/21/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay range $1,756 to $1,885 with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Night shift with 12-hour shifts (3 nights per week). Work setting: hospital ICU.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult MICU patients, including those with sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, and chronic kidney disease.
- Manage ventilated patients, including ventilator management and related infusions/drips, within a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Monitor patient status continuously, interpret telemetry and hemodynamic data, and implement physician orders and ICU protocols.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, document care, and participate in daily rounds and care planning with the multidisciplinary team.
- Recognize and respond to acute changes in patient condition; participate in rapid response and code situations per facility policy.
- Ensure patient safety, pain management, and family communication while adhering to standard infection control practices and quality metrics.

Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Medical ICU (MICU) experience
- Ventilator management experience
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MICU environment and on a night shift schedule
