Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill adults in the MICU, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and documentation.
- Manage ventilated patients and collaborate with respiratory therapy to adjust settings as ordered.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, monitor effects, and respond to adverse events.
- Perform invasive and non-invasive procedures as required, following established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care plans and ensure patient safety.
- Respond to emergencies (rapid response, codes) and participate in escalation of care as needed; maintain accurate and timely nursing notes.

Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in Georgia
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- 2+ years ICU/MICU experience
- Ventilator management experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity MICU environment
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (implied by RN licensure)
