Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms, including frequency, severity, and impact on daily functioning.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Provide education to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment methods, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.

• Engage in collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a well-rounded, integrated approach to care.

• Stay informed about current research and best practices in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills and learn new treatment approaches.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily focused on supporting individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base is diverse, ranging from adolescents to adults, each with unique backgrounds and experiences. Your understanding of cultural sensitivities and individualized approaches will play a major role in connecting with and effectively serving our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
\n
• Strong background in assessing and treating mood disorders using evidence-based practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and foster therapeutic relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience working specifically with mood disorders.

• Demonstrated expertise in treatment methods such as CBT and DBT, with a proven ability to engage clients meaningfully.

• A successful record of achieving positive client outcomes in past therapeutic engagements.

Compensation and Benefits\n
