The Business Development Rep plays a vital role in driving the company's revenue growth and profitability. This position is responsible for initiating and nurturing high-value relationships with potential clients, focusing on identifying and qualifying leads that align with the company’s financial objectives. By executing proactive outreach strategies, the Business Development Rep ensures a steady flow of qualified leads that not only meet sales criteria but also contribute to hitting revenue targets and maximizing gross profit margins. Success in this role is measured by the ability to consistently build a pipeline that directly impacts the company’s bottom line, while maintaining accurate CRM records and working closely with sales and marketing teams to drive strategic growth.

What You’ll Do

• Drive revenue growth while achieving gross margin goals through profitable sales opportunities
• Prospect, qualify, and convert new leads into long-term customer relationships.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outbound outreach and follow-up.
• Prioritize high-value opportunities that maximize revenue and profitability.
• Develop and strengthen strategic relationships with key vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with vendors on pricing, product availability, and customer solutions.
• Prepare competitive, accurate quotes in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including customer interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
• Manage the sales pipeline and ensure all opportunities are updated through the sales cycle.
• Monitor sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates, and margin performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by ensuring timely communication, accurate order fulfillment, and reliable shipping expectations.
• Successfully onboard new customers while expanding and diversifying the customer base.
• Analyze monthly sales results and develop action plans to achieve annual revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and long-term customer success.
